Information we handle
Dawnwalker Wiki is a static website. It does not require an account and does not operate a database of visitor profiles. When you request a page, the hosting provider may process ordinary request information such as an IP address, browser details, requested URL, and timestamp for delivery, security, and reliability.
Local browser storage
The site may store small preference values in your browser for the following features:
- Your selected visual theme
- Your accept or decline choice when optional analytics or advertising is configured
- Whether you dismissed an enabled sticky advertisement
- Whether you already submitted the on-page helpfulness prompt for an article
These preferences remain on your device and can be removed through your browser settings.
Third-party services
- Cloudflare: hosts and delivers the site and may process request data for security and performance.
- Google Analytics and AdSense: are optional and load only when configured and accepted. They may use cookies, IP addresses, web beacons, or similar identifiers under Google's policies.
- giscus and GitHub: may process interaction and account data if comments are enabled.
- YouTube: supplies video thumbnails; the privacy-enhanced player is created only after you choose to play a video.
Analytics, advertising, and comments are currently disabled in the default site configuration. Enabling one of these services changes which third parties receive information and requires the site operator to keep this policy and its consent controls current.
Your choices
You may decline optional analytics and advertising when the consent notice is shown. You can also clear site storage, block cookies, or restrict third-party content in your browser. These choices do not prevent access to the wiki's articles, although embedded or preference-based features may not work as expected.
Data retention
This static site does not keep its own visitor-account records. Browser preferences remain until you clear them. Any enabled third-party provider controls its own processing and retention under its published policy.
Children and changes
This site is a general-audience game reference and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect children's personal information. This policy may be updated when site features or providers change; the date at the top identifies the latest revision.
